The Book of Kells is a delicately illustrated masterpiece of illustration. Created around 800AD, it is often considered one of the most beautiful things to have survived from the first millennium AD. See the exhibition dedicated to it - and of course the book itself - at the Old Library at Trinity College Dublin, from 9:30am to 5pm.
