Hats were central to Stockport's industry - now, view hundreds of them, with historic hat manufacturing machines, at Hat Works on Wellington Road South in Stockport. Appropriately, it's housed in Wellington Mill, a Victorian hat factory. Take one of the tours of the factory, on the hour from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
