One of Birmingham's oldest buildings, the remarkable timber-framed Blakesley Hall, on Blakesley Road in Yardley, was built in 1590. Filled with period furniture and a Tudor herb garden, go back to the past there with a tour this Friday: at 11.15am, 12.15pm, 1.15pm and 2.15pm.
