One of BA's most prominent landmarks, the narrow-domed Palacio del Congreso building was begun in 1906. Discover its history with a free guided tour (in Spanish and English) this Friday - they run at 12.30pm and 5pm from the entrance on Hipólito Yrigoyen 1849 - you'll need a passport or photo ID, and get there early as places are limited.
